Buelah Ross

Buelah Jean Ross, daughter of Thomas Smith and Emma Eola  Lane Smith was born June 4, 1930 in Runnels, Iowa and passed from this life Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Westview Acres Care Center in Leon, Iowa at 89 years of age.

Jean grew up in Runnels and graduated from Woodside High School. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Ross on August 8, 1951 in Kansas, they were blessed with three children. Robert preceded her in death in 1966. Jean married Earl Ross in 1972 and they were blessed with a son. Jean lived in Murray and later moved to Osceola.

Those relatives who preceded Jean in death were her parents, Tom and Eola Smith, husband Robert Ross and Earl Ross, brothers, Henry Elmer, and Orville, sister, Florence, twin granddaughters, Stacy & Tracy, and grandson, Ryan Fulkerson.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Emilea (David) Lewis of Afton, IA, son, Robert (Carol) Ross of Green River, WY, daughter, Tammy (Scott)  Fulkerson of Leon, Iowa, son, Kevin Ross of Des Moines, IA, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Monday November 4, 2019 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Shane Simpson officiating.

Family will greet friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Monday, November 4, 2019 at Kale Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Murray Cemetery
