September fire report

The Osceola Volunteer Fire Department responded to 5 good intent calls, 1 stove/oven fire, 2 alarm calls, 1 vehicle accident, 1 ambulance assist, 2 vehicle fires, 1 medical assist and 1 gas leak. Theses calls required 93.5 man hours total.

Firefighters participated in 15 hours of monthly maintenance, 298 hours of monthly training including 4 at fire school, 21 hours of officer meetings, 8 hours of community involvement and 40 hours of miscellaneous station work for a total of 382 hours for training, maintenance and education.

The Osceola Volunteer Fire Department put in a total of 475.5 hours during the month of September.
