According to an Osceola police report, Mark Yorba, Osceola, was traveling west on Clay Street to Lakeside Hotel & Casino in a 2015 Ford F150. As Yorba was driving, a deer crossed the road and was struck.
Damage is estimated at $1,500 to the 2015 Ford.

No citations were issued following an accident in the intersection of US Highways 34 and 69 on Dec. 7.
According to an Osceola police report, Linda Redfern of Osceola, was traveling northbound on south Main Street/US Highway 69 in a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. Redfern intended to turn left at the intersection of highways 69/34, and stated to responding officers that she had a green light. Upon making a left turn, Redfern failed to yield to oncoming southbound traffic and was struck in the front passenger door by a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Chance Selsor of Thayer.
Selsor, who had been traveling south on Main Street/US Highway 69, told officers that upon entering the intersection to continue south, Redfern turned in front of him, causing the front of his vehicle to strike Redfern’s.
Damage is estimated at $2,000 to the 2007 Buick and $2,000 to the 2005 Chevrolet. No injuries were reported at the scene.

No citations were issued following an accident on Dec. 9.
According to an Osceola police report, Barry Mateer, Osceola, was northbound bound in the 1900 block of North Main Street in a 2015 Ford Escape when a deer ran out of the east ditch and struck Mateer’s vehicle. Heavy damage was reported to the front left of the Ford; no injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $8,000 to the 2015 Ford.
