Deng Harun Bulis, 19, of East Logan Street, was charged with a warrant 1:10 p.m. March 29 at 220 Townline Rd.

Brandon Eugene Dabb, 30, of North Vale Street was charged with drug tax stamp violations, controlled substance violation, unlawful possession of prescription drug, possession of controlled substance third offense and possession of drug paraphernalia 9:12 p.m. March 29 at 106 N. Vale St.

According to an Osceola Police report, officers executed a search warrant, during the search officers located multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia throughout the residence which included, bongs, pipes, scales and glass tubes to make shatter. Officers also located an active grow operation to include grow lights, water pump, greenhouse tent and an air exchanger. Under the green house tent and lights were 10 individually potted marijuana plants in the growing process. Dabb failed to affix a drug tax stamp to the unprocessed plants. During the search officers also located five bundles of concentrated THC “shatter” on the living room coffee table, as well as seven bundles of the same substance in a black safe in Dabb’s bedroom. Officers located 22 methadone pills in a class container which did not have a label. Dabb did not have proof a prescription for the medication. Dabb failed to affix drug tax stamp on 10 or more dosage units. Officers located nine small containers that contained THC wax, six of these containers were located in Dabb’s bedroom in the safe and the other three were located in the living room on the coffee table next to the bundles of shatter. Also located on the living room coffee table was a scale used to weigh out product. Officers also located 11 Oxycodone pills in a glass bottle with no label. Dabb admitted to not having a prescription for the pills, he failed to attach drug tax stamp on 10 or more dosage units. Officers found 32 individual “Glo” THC vape cartridges, six were located in the Dabb’s bedroom, the rest were located in the living room near the other illegal items that the Dabb admitted to selling. Officers found 22 methadone pills in a class container which did not have a label. Officers located in the Dabb’s bedroom a small baggie of “mushrooms” or psilocybin which weighed 4.5g, a Schedule I drug.

Bond was set at $20,000.

George William Douglas, 28, of Pacific Street Woodburn, was charged with possession of controlled substance third offense and disorderly conduct- loud noise 4:32 a.m. March 31 at the Osceola Police Department.

According to an Osceola Police report, Douglas was arrested for disorderly conduct. Douglas refused to place his hands behind his back and walked into a corner. Douglas continued to resist officers. Once arrested Douglas had a baggie containing a crystalline substance in his hand. The substance was field tested and tested positive for methamphetamine. The baggie was weighed and weighed approximately seven grams.

Bond was set at $5,000.

Ashley Ann Sheehan, 33, of South Fillmore Street, was charged with violation of no contact order- domestic 12 a.m. Friday at the Osceola Police Department.

According to an Osceola Police report, Sheehan was seen by an eye witness coming out of trailer 24 with Ron Spurgin, who she has an active no contact order with. The two were seen having a argument outside of the residence.

Bond was set at $300.

Scott Allen Groff, 56, of East 2nd Street Des Moines, was charged with possession of controlled substance third offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension 6:57 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Warren Avenue and McLane Street.

According to an Osceola Police report, Groff was stopped for several traffic violations. During the stop a small container containing a crystalline substance was located in the passenger door. Groff admitted this substance was methamphetamine. Groff thought he had about a 1/4 gram of methampetamine or so. During the stop a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine was located in the passenger door. Groff admitted to handing it to the passenger to hide for him because he knew he was going to be arrested for a parole violation warrant.

Bond was set at $5,300.

Jess E Stephenson, 39, of East Washington Street Apt. 4, was charged with driving while barred 7:34 p.m. Friday at the 100 block of North Park Street.

According to an Osceola Police report, Stephenson has a barred license in the State of Iowa until March 14, 2023.

Bond was set at $2,000.
