After the death of her son Dan, Vicky took on an active role in helping her daughter-in-law Teresa with the raising of her grandsons, Jacob and Joshua.

Vicky was hard working farm wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved attending her family’s activities. Her greatest joys were when they were all together for holidays, Vicky always said that was when she found peace with herself.

Vicky enjoyed her time working away from the farm, working at Family Table, Ace Realty, Highway House Café, Mateer Sprayers, the Murray Post Office, and working at Circle D Ag in Osceola, especially visiting with her customers and friends, ending her work before retiring as partner with Darrell and Brian in M&M Ag.
