Supervisors renew contract, transfer funds

At Monday’s Clarke County Board of Supervisors meeting the Supervisors unanimously voted to renew the shredding contract for Clarke County DHS for the same cost as the previous year at $90 per stop with seven services per year.

“It’s for confidential information. So a big truck comes and shreds their documents at DHS,” said Janice White, Clarke County Auditor.

The Supervisors then approved the transfer of $13,946.75 from the general fund to Emergency Management. A transfer of funds to Emergency Management happens quarterly.
