Again, I was overwhelmed by the beauty and the symbols of our country flying in the breeze against the afternoon sun on entering the cemetery. The flags are a wonderful sight and bring so many emotions: pride, gratefulness to those who defended our flag, sadness for the ones we lost to the wars, thankfulness for living in this country and hope for the future of our country and not anymore wars.
Thank you to those who put up these wonderful flags, preserve and care for them for us to enjoy and remember. They are the heroes of our community who have a continuing sense of service and duty.
