Joseph Adair Knob Noster, Mo.

Joseph “Toad” Jordon Adair, 33, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, in Leon in an ice fishing accident alongside his father who also died in the accident.

Funeral services for David and Joseph were held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola with the Rev. Chuck DeVos officiating. Visitation with family present was from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.

Joseph “Toad” Jordon Adair, son of David “Gabby” Adair and Donna (Clark) Adair, was born May 4, 1982, in Des Moines.

Toad grew up in Osceola and moved with his parents to Alabama where he finished high school. He was working with his dad as a handyman at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri, where his dad was employed.

Joseph is survived by his mother Donna Adair of Knob Noster, Missouri; brothers, Gabe (Rana) Adair of Urbandale, Josh Adair of Woodland and Jake Adair of Knob Noster, Missouri; grandparents, Gerald and Lynette Clark of Osceola and Max and Beulah Adair of Arizona; niece Taylor; nephews, Cole and Chase; uncles, John (Cindy) Adair of Arizona, Jim (Laurel) Adair of Arizona, Mike (Janet) Adair of Tennessee, Denny Adair of Iowa, Ron Adair of Iowa and Rob (Nila) Clark of Osceola; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother Dee Clark and aunt Debbie Clark.
