Virgina Shaver, 76, of Indianola died June 13, 2015.
Services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Osceola. The Rev. Chuck DeVos officiated. Interment was in Fremont Cemetery in rural Clarke County.
Virgina K. (Harris) Shaver, daughter of Edith (Williams) and Hylvin Harris, was born July 23, 1938, near Osceola in Clarke County.
Virginia graduated from New Virginia High School in 1956, and on May 25, 1956, married Carroll Harned.
Later, Virginia married Dwayne E. Shaver and was widowed in 1987.
Virginia was employed as a checker at Walmart in West Des Moines.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Pamela Kay (Alan) Bohn of Sagle, Idaho, and Julie Ann (Doug) Klein of Des Moines; son Kevin Samuel (Jan) of Melbourne; brother Charles “Brownie” Harris of Carlisle; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Goodrich of Osceola, Elaine (LaVern) Bullard of Panora and Vicki (Jim) Asmus of Osceola; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and several “grand” dogs.
Viriginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dwayne; sister-in-law Phyllis Shoup Harris; brothers, Doyle, Gene and Keith Harris; and sisters, Dolores and Arlene Harris.
