Norelius, Schroeder plan Sept. 25 wedding

Kathleen Norelius and Matthew Schroeder, both of Chicago, Ill., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Norelius is the daughter of Dan and Sherry (Pontier) Norelius of Ankeny. Schroeder is the son of Marianne and George Zorich of Lake Forest, Ill., and James Schroeder of Milwaukee, Wis.

Grandparents are Frank and Willodean Pontier of Osceola, Dean and Janet Norelius of Webster City and Vincent and Frances Curkov of Schaumburg, Ill.

Norelius graduated from Ankeny High School in 2002 and Iowa State University in 2006. She is employed at American Association of Diabetes Educators in Chicago.

Schroeder graduated from Maine West High School in Des Plaines, Ill., in 2000 and Iowa State University in 2005. He is employed at Academy of General Dentistry in Chicago.

A Sept. 25 wedding at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines is planned.
