Charles “Chuck” Willey

Charles Donald Willey, son of Charles Franklyn Willey and Mary Jane Mullins Willey, was born April 10, 1965, in Des Moines, and passed from this life May 9, 2009, at Madison County Memorial Hospital at 44 years of age.

Chuck graduated from Indianola High School, attended DMACC one year and had taken technical training through his work.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1986 - 1989.  He was united in marriage to Dana Marie Card on Oct. 23, 1999, at Ankeny.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father and paternal grandparents, Donald and Cleva Mullins.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife, Dana Willey of St. Charles; children, Nickolas Ray Glenn of Marshalltown, Ricky Lee Glenn (Jenny) of Marshalltown, Bradley Steven Yakle, Zachary Aaron Willey, Isaiah Allen Willey - all of St. Charles; mother, Mary Jane Graves (Glenn) of Des Moines; brothers, Jeff Willey of Indianola, Dominic Willey, Fred Willey, Charles F. Willey, Jr.- all of Oklahoma, Jimmy McDonald of Winterset; sisters, Kathy Palmer (Jerry) of Des Moines, Lucinda Norbom (Jeff) of Granger, Tina Vogel (Dave) of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Osceola, May 13, 2009, with Bishop James Bair, officiating.

Chuck will be cremated following services and interment of cremains will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at a later date.
