Clarke Lady Indians bested the Cardinal Comets on Aug. 30 in four sets 3-1.
The Lady Indians had a strong first set, falling to the Comets in the second set, and coming back to win sets three and four with a nine and eight point spread respectively.
Josey Dunbar and Ali Henry took a moment to talk to Dewayne Cook withGo SCC TV following the match.
“Great passes from the back row…everyone did a really great job setting up,” Dunbar told Cook about the game.
Of her defense, Henry said,
“Pretty much right to me…get it set up and put it down.”
The Lady Indians saw wins over Centerville and Central Decatur on Sept. 1, bringing their current season to 7-1. Upcoming games will be at Pleasantville on Sept. 8 and at Centerville on Sept. 13.
