According to an Osceola police report, the driver of a 2020 Freightliner tractor trailer was parked and in the back of his semi when he heard a crunching sound, then his semi started to rock back and forth. He looked out and noticed a white semi with the name Land Star on the side continuing to back into the spot next to him. The driver of the Freightliner attempted to other driver about what had happened, but received no response and the other driver took off. The Freightliner had damage to the front diver side fender and scratches on the door.

Attempts to locate the white semi were unsuccessful; Land Star was contacted.

Officers were later able to get in touch with the possible driver of the white semi, who indicated to officers that he was now in Missouri. The driver did not believe he had hit anyone, and had no damage to his semi. Officers contacted a Harrison County, Missouri, deputy who agreed to find the semi and check for damage. Upon inspection, the Harrison County deputy determined there was no clear indication that the semi had been involved in a hit and run.

Damage is estimated at $1,400 to the 2020 Freightliner.
