No citations were issued following an accident on Interstate 35 north on Nov. 16.
According to an Osceola police report, Melanie Beaman of Afton was driving a 2007 Ford Mustang north on I-35 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow. Beaman entered the median and collided with a cable barrier, causing disabling damage to the vehicle and damage to the cable barrier. Iowa State Patrol was notified of the damage to the cable, including three posts that were broken off.
Damage is estimated at $7,500 to the 2007 Ford and $1,000 to the cable barrier owned by the State of Iowa.

No citations were issued on Nov. 16 for an accident in the Pilot truck parking lot at 2010 West Clay Street.
According to an Osceola police report, a 2017 International tractor trailer was parked with the driver inside asleep. Ibrahim Othman of Minneapolis, Minn., driving a 2007 Freightliner tractor trailer attempted to back into the stall next to the 2017 International, and got too close to its passenger side trailer, causing scrapes to both trailers and bent metal on the trailer of the International.
Damage is estimated at $500 to the 2017 International and $500 to the 2007 Freightliner.

No citations were issued following an accident in the Pilot truck parking lot at 2010 West Clay Street on Nov. 17.
According to an Osceola police report, Christopher McNichols of Rose Creek, Minn. was attempting to back a 2020 KW Dart tractor trailer into a stall next to a 2019 Freightliner tractor trailer. McNichols collided into the cab portion of the 2019 Freightliner with his trailer while attempting to back into the stall, damaging the left portion of the sleeper cab.
Damage is estimated at $1,000 to the 2019 Freightliner and $0 to the 2020 KW.

Kelvin Gabriel of Des Moines was cited for driving under suspension following an accident on North Fillmore St. on Nov. 21.
According to an Osceola police report, Gabriel was driving southbound on North Fillmore in a 2015 International 4300 box truck and attempted to go under the underpass. The underpass has a clearance of 10 feet, 10 inches, and the box truck was over that limit.
The top of the truck came in contact with the bottom of the underpass, and became stuck, requiring towing by Southern Iowa Towing.
Damage is estimated at $10,000 to the 2015 International.
