In the month of May the Osceola Volunteer Fire Department responded to two motor vehicle crashes, two alarm calls, one odor investigation, one mutual aid Creston- building fire, two vehicle fires and one gas leak for a total of 140.5 man hours responding to calls. EMS responded to 10 calls for service.
The OVFD spent 30 hours on monthly maintenance, 58 hours on monthly training and 45 hours on miscellaneous station work resulting in 133 man hours.
The OVFD worked a total of 273.5 hours in the month of May.
