Phyllis Traster

Phyllis Jean Traster, daughter of Corwin Emory Mauderly and Jean Muriel (King) Mauderly was born February 1, 1947 in Maryville, Missouri and passed from this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Clarke County Hospital at 75 years of age.

Phyllis received her education in Bedford Community High School graduating in 1965. She was united in marriage to Jack Lee Traster on April 3, 1965 at Maryville, Missouri and two children, Lance and Angela blessed this union.

She enjoyed playing pinochle, scrabble and other games with her family. She was a collector of slag glass, silhouette pictures and other antiques.

Those relatives who preceded Phyllis in death were her parents, Corwin and Jean Mauderly; sister in law, Carolyn  Mauderly and brother in law, Bill Jackson.

Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Jack Traster of Osceola, IA; son, Lance Traster of Pella, IA; daughter, Angela (Jeff) Glenn of Osceola, IA; grandchildren  Andrea Glenn of Osceola, IA, Brian (Flordeliz) Glenn of Osceola, IA, Kevin Glenn of Osceola, IA, Alicia Glenn of Osceola, IA, Emily Glenn of Osceola, IA, Kaitlyn Glenn of Osceola, IA,  Brittany Burtschi of Pella, IA; great-grandchildren, Henry Burtschi of Pella, IA, Charlotte Burtschi of Pella, IA, Brianna Glenn of Osceola, IA; brothers, Jerry Mauderly of Bedford, IA, Wade (Ramah) Mauderly of Bedford, IA, sisters, Karen Jackson of Bedford, IA, Donna (Terry) Melvin of Blockton, IA, Diane (Ed) Scotton of Bedford, IA as well as many other relatives.

Per her wishes, Phyllis was cremated and no services will be held at this time.
