Kenneth Eldon Garner, son of James Delbert Garner and Bessie Ethel (Shaeffer) Garner was born June 25, 1932 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 89 years of age.
Eldon grew up in Osceola. He was united in marriage to Hattie Lee McDonald on April 1, 1952 at Yuma Arizona and four daughters blessed this union. Eldon & Hattie made their home in Santa Ana, California for 40 years before retiring to Iowa in 1997. Hattie preceded him in death July 16, 2015.
Eldon worked as a truck driver and was a farmer. He worked for Owl Rock for 22 years retiring in 1994. Eldon enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, gardening, fishing and farming. He enjoyed time with family and was a member of LifePoint Assembly Church in Osceola.
Those relatives who preceded Eldon in death were his wife, Hattie Lee Garner, parents, James and Bessie Garner, brothers, John William Garner, Donald Garner, Edwin Garner, Leland Garner, Leroy Garner, and Larry Garner, sister, Alice May Fouche, and son-in-law, Tim Crickx.
Eldon leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Kathy (Steven) Krambeck of Wildomar, CA, daughter, Carol Miller of Lake Elsinore, CA, daughter, Sherry Garner of Lake Elsinore, CA, daughter, Anette Cortines of Englewood, OH, Grandchild, Melanie (James) LeMay of Lake Elsinore, CA, Grandchild, Melissa (Ronnie) Williams of Costa Mesa, CA, Grandchild, Jason (Christy) Miller of Folsom, CA, Grandchild, Jamie (Mark) Ortiz of Star, ID, Grandchild, Lori Oldfield of Lake Elsinore, CA, Grandchild, Matthew Bales of Englewood, OH Grandchild, Daniel Cortines of Los Angeles, CA, great grandchildren, Owyn Bales, MacKinzie Miller, Morgan Miller, Madelynn Ortiz, Natalya Ortiz, Alyssa Miller, Danica Oldfield, and Banksy LeMay as well as other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Saturday September 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Chuck DeVos officiating.
Visitation will be Friday with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, at Kale Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery
