Unofficial 2022 general election results

The unofficial results of the 2022 general election are in, with 100% of Clarke County polling places reporting as of 9:06 p.m. Tuesday night. Of 6,158 registered voters, 3,427 ballots were turned in, a 55.56% voter turnout. There were 341 write-in ballots, and one blank ballot.

The unofficial results of county races show Randy Dunbar as the new district 2 supervisor with 2,287 votes; opponent Marvin McCann had 1,015 votes.

Selena Humphrey beat incumbent Peggy Cummings for recorder with 1,794 votes to 1,560.

Jessica Smith, incumbent treasurer, ran uncontested and received 2,955 votes.

Adam Ramsey, incumbent attorney, ran uncontested and received 2,514 votes.

Local results

Franklin Township trustees (vote 2): Jason Boyer, 68; Steve W. Smith, 56; and Dusty Hamilton, 28.

Fremont Township trustees (vote 2): Randy Barnard, 216 and Justin Bever, 147.

Franklin Township clerk Barry Mateer received 217 votes.

Green Bay Township trustees (vote 2): Brian V. Mateer, 86 and Rickie M. Oschel, 85.

Jackson Township trustees (vote 2): Janice VanWinkle, 97 and Donna Carson 74.

Franklin Township clerk Mary Pett received 94 votes.

Knox Township trustees (vote 2): Matt McCann, 91 and Kelly Curnes, 88.

Liberty Township trustees (vote 2): Cindy Henry, 147 and Robert Asmus, 129.

Liberty Township clerk Judy Barber received 155 votes.

Madison Township trustees (vote 2): Mark Bright, 58 and Andy Keller, 50.

Madison Township clerk Rita Kay Griffith received 60 votes.

Troy Township trustees (vote 2): Randy Callison, 100 and Darrell D. Carson, 98.

Troy Township clerk Janiece Hood received 108 votes.

Ward Township trustee Arthur Pontier received 146 votes.

Ward Township clerk Bill Kelso received 146 votes.

There were no names on the ballot for Doyle Township trustee, Doyle Township clerk, Franklin Township clerk, Green Bay Township clerk, Knox Township clerk, Osceola Township trustee, Osceola Township clerk, Washington Township trustee, and Washington Township clerk.

Clarke public hospital trustees (vote for four) had the following votes: Teresa Woods 2,332; Deb Lundquist 2,319; Kelly Blanchard 2,182; Don Waltz 1,917.

Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner (vote 2) results were Christopher S. George 2,425 and Norman Lust 1,828.

Agricultural Extension Council (vote 5) were Linda Abbott 2,195; Darbi DeVore 2,128; Kelly Myers 1,954; Leslie Ruby 1,952; Rita Kay Griffith 1,923.
