AUDLEHELM: Thank you readers

By TYRA Audlehelm, OST editor

Jan. 2 was my third anniversary at the Osceola Sentinel Tribune and I consider myself truly blessed to have the title of editor in my home town. A lot has happened since I began my journey at the paper. I’ve had a son, Anson, who is two years old now, my husband and I celebrated three years of marriage this past summer, we bought a house a year ago and, thankfully, we’ve both continued to work in stable jobs that we love through this pandemic.

Now that you’re all caught with my life I just need to say a massive thank you to every reader, subscriber, contributor, source and supporter. It was my dream to work for this newspaper since I took journalism at Clarke Community High School. Not every paper that goes to print is perfect but I work to be better every week. Thank you to all the understanding readers who know that typo’s happen, mistakes will always result in

a correction in the next issue and that I am always happy to take story ideas.

It’s been three years of learning, interviewing amazing people, writing and rewriting. So again, to everyone who reads this newspaper, thank you. It’s been a great three years and I look forward to many more. Have a healthy and happy new year.
