According to an Osceola Police report, Lisandy Hernandez Pupo, 46, of Odessa, TX, driving a 2018 Freightliner semi backed into a legally parked 2014 Volvo semi.

Estimated damage was $5,000 to the 2014 Volvo and $1,000 to Pupo’s vehicle.

According to an Osceola Police report, James Gachihi Mumbi, 41, of Allen, TX, driving a 2016 Freightliner semi backed into a legally parked 2016 Freightliner semi.

Estimated damage was $2,000 to the 2016 Freightliner.

No citations were issued after an accident 4:59 p.m. Saturday in Casey’s parking lot.

According to an Osceola Police report, John Preston Dunn, 63, of Kansas City, KS, driving a 2012 Volvo semi pulled away from a parking space and the trailer scraped the side of a legally parked unoccupied 2016 Kenworth semi.

Estimated damage was $2,000 to the 2016 Kenworth semi and $500 to Dunn’s vehicle.

According to an Osceola Police report William R Longshore, 56, of Gainesville, TX, driving a 2011 Volvo semi backed up and struck the building.

Estimated damage was $10,000 to the building owned by Curtis Nish.

According to an Osceola Police report, David Alan Foushee, 59, of Murray, driving a 2019 Dodge truck was headed east through the parking lot and when he turned north to go down a parking lane he struck the concrete post that identifiers the parking lane number.

Estimated damage was $1,000 to Wal Mart’s concrete sign post and $15,000 to Foushee’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the 2400 blk of Highway 69.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, James Michael Price, 47, of New Virginia, driving a 2010 ford truck was traveling northbound of Highway 69 when he struck a deer htat had entered the roadway as he rounded a corner.

Estimated damage was $5,000 to Price’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 6:07 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 35.

According to an Osceola Police report, David Russell Anderson, 57, of Brainerd, MI, driving a 2012 Ford, had veered toward the exit 29 off ramp, struck a large sign that indicated “Exit 29” and then hit a metal reflector sign then entered back into northbound traffic. OWI investigating began when officers arrived on scene and Anderson was transported to Clarke County Jail for further testing.

Estimated damage was $500 to the Iowa DOT for the interstate road signs and $7,000 to Anderson’s vehicle.
