October 3 is the first annual Autumn in the Alley event hosted by Rose Ann Robertson-Jordison of Ivy Rose and Molly Crawford of Mayberry’s Coffee House and Eatery.

Ivy Rose recently moved locations to 124 W. Jefferson St. and is across the drive-thru alley to Mayberry’s. They two wanted to put on a fun fall event now that they are neighbors.

The event starting at 5 p.m. Oct. 3 will have live acoustic music by Bruce Harris, a full meal with dessert and coffees, each guest will receive a SWAG bag valued at $25 and a style show of Ivy Rose’s new fall collection, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a private shopping experience in Ivy Rose to purchase the first pieces from the fall collection. Mayberry’s will be revealing their new fall coffee flavors.

“It’ll be the most fun you’ve had since COVID started,” said Crawford.

Tickets for the event are available now through Sep. 26 for $32. There will be 75 spots available with groups from two to eight people. There will be reserved seating in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Guests can pre order t-shirts to get in their SWAG bags.

“We’re going to string some light so the ambiance will be there,” said Robertson-Jordison. “There will be trailer decorated for fall so people can have photo-op’s. It’s safe and it’s fun.”

“We just want to do something fun to celebrate fall and celebrate us being neighbors,” said Crawford.

To purchase tickets to Autumn in the Alley stop in at either shop, message them on Facebook or call Ivy Rose at 515-210-6241 or Mayberry’s at 641-223-8175.
