Hunt & Associates, P.C., Certified pUblic Accoutants released an audit report on Clarke County, Iowa.
The County’s revenue totaled $9,606,331 for the year ended June 30, 2019, a 14.0 percent decrease from the prior year. Expenses for County operations totaled $10,330,272, a 10.4 percent increase from the prior year.
The auditor reported five findings related to the receipt and expenditure of taxpayer funds. They are found in the Schedule of Findings of htis report. The County was provided with recommendations to address each of the findings.
