Arthur Arnold

Arthur Kay Arnold Sr., son of Boyd Arnold and Cottella (Adkins) Arnold was born February 5, 1947 in Coeburn, Virginia and passed from this life suddenly, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his home in Osceola, Iowa at 73.

Art grew up in Coeburn, Virginia and graduated from Coeburn High School. He received his Associates degree in Business from DMACC in Des Moines. Art was united in marriage to Freda Darline Calvert on August 13, 1965 in Des Moines, and two sons, Arthur Jr. and Robert, blessed this union.

Art was a steel worker and worked for P.D.M. Steel and then C. B. & I. Steel Inc. He was a member of LifePoint Assembly Church in Osceola. Art enjoyed the outdoors. He took great pride in the upkeep of his yard. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, trapping and working in his garden. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Those relatives who preceded Art in death were his parents, Boyd and Cottella Arnold, brothers, Dee, Glen and Eugene Arnold, sister, France Hutshinson.

Art leaves to cherish his memory; wife of 54 years, Darline Arnold of Osceola, IA, son, Arthur Kay (Barbara) Arnold, Jr. of Bondurant, IA, son, Robert Boyd (Tammy) Arnold of Ames, IA, grandchildren, Robert E. Lee Arnold of Farland, IA, Elizabeth Lee of Des Moines, IA, Kayla Millan of Des Moines, IA, Emily Arnold of Bondurant, IA, great grandchild, Lilia, Hector, Adrian, Jakia, Liam, Dominic, Ivy, sister, Dorothy Gliem of of Lucas, IA, sister, Hase Hale of Colburn, VA, Reatha Harding of Des Moines, IA, brother, Vernon Arnold of Wise, VA, sisters, Barbara Mickles of Centerville, IA, sister, Shirley Ratliff of Canyon Lake, TX, as well as other relatives and many friends.
