area girls basketball players were selected to the Bluegrass all-conference team late last week.
Murray’s Kinzee Eggers was the final area athlete to make the first team.
Eggers averaged eight points per game. She grabbed 160 total rebounds for ninth in the conference for the Lady Mustangs this season, helping them finish 8-14.
Honorable Mention
Murray’s Jayda Chew was also a Bluegrass Conference honorable mention.
Chew, a freshman, finished seventh in the conference with 56 assists.
She racked up 58 steals, fourth in the conference.
