Wednesday Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. the Osceola Public Library and Humanities Iowa presents the program “Women of Warmth, Wisdon and War” exploring Hollywood depictions of Native American women by focusing on real historical tribal roles for Native American women compared to Hollywood’s representations in film. The program includes the domestic, decision-making Women of Wisdon in the tribes, and the non-traditional Women of War. The event is at the Osceola Public Library.
