In the article “August 6th Special Vote on Clarke County Supervisors - Options and Information by Andrew B. Clark of ClarkeCountyLife.com, printed in the Aug. 1, 2019 Osceola Sentinel the author made a mistake in the interpretation of Plan “two” for the August 6 ballot in the upcoming special election. The previous information was not verified by the Clarke County Auditor.
It was inadvertently stated that "Plan 2" would remove the requirement for the representative to live in the district for which they represent. This is incorrect.
Plan "two" DOES NOT remove the requirement for the representative to live in the distrct for which they represent but is voted on by the whole county.
The correction to the article has been made throughout its digital publishing.
We apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion.
