Classical guitarist Jeff Bianchi set to return to Osceola

On Thursday May 16, classical guitarist Jeff Bianchi will make his third appearance in Osceola at the Honey Hill Events Center, 1400 W. Clay St. The free concert will be held 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Clarke Area Arts Council. There will be savory bites, sweet treats and a cash bar.

As a native of Williamson, New York, Jeff began performing at wedding and cages while still in his teens. The uniqueness of the classical guitar coupled with his professionalism enabled him to stay working over the years. His hard work earned him performances at the Rantucci International Guitar Festival as well as as the nationally recognized Ithaca Guitar Festival.

The overwhelming success of Jeff’s cross country solo tour in 2010 enabled him to expand his solo career to the national level. For the last 10 years Jeff has been all over the United States performing. On his return to Osceola, Jeff says, “I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with the Clarke Area Arts Council again. This will be my third time playing in Iowa. I am looking forward to being able to share my music with everyone again.”

CD’s will be available for $15 following the performance.
