It is with great sadness that I have to say my sweet, loving mother, Judith Romine, passed away on March 28, 2026 peacefully at home. My mother just turned 84 on March 22nd, 2026.
My mom was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended schools in Ottumwa and Ankeny, Iowa. She took classes to learn shorthand. She had many jobs but her favorite job was with Friend Of The Court, helping with child support cases. When the state took over this she became a legal secretary to many attorneys.
She loved horses and loved her goats. She loved to go to Fort Robins, NE to ride horses on the many trails. She enjoyed having her grandkids over on the weekends and would let them do her make-up and hair. (The grandkids thought she looked beautiful after completing their work.) She also loved when she could see the great-grandkids. She sent all of them cards for every holiday and birthday, to let them know how much she loved them.
Judith is survived by her daughters, Michelle Lubavs and Susan Romine. She had 6 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids. She is also survived hy her sister Carol Braddock.
She had many friends and loved each one dearly. She would strike up conversations where ever she went, and she loved each new person she met.She was preceded in death by her husband JamesRominein 2019. She deeply loved and missed him. Also preceding him in death were her parents, Thomas Braddock and Helen Clary.
Mom was an amazing woman and will be missed by so many.
