Daleath Hickman

Daleath Marie (Brim) Hickman, 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020.

Daleath was born Aug. 30, 1944, in Osceola. She was the daughter of Dwight and Doris (Ewoldsen) Brim. Daleath had a brother Rodney and a sister Sally Jo that died at birth.

After graduating from Clarke Community High School in 1962, Daleath went to work for the Iowa Natural Resources Office in the Iowa State Capital Building in Des Moines.

On July 3, 1964, Daleath married Roger Hickman at the Christian Church in Osceola. They have two sons, Britton and Shad (Nicole). Shad has four children: Henry, Shilo, Annie and Lila.

Daleath always had a love for horses. She had them when she was younger and would ride in Dr. Paul's Osceola Girls' Pony Drill Team.

After the boys got older, Daleath got back into trail riding around Kansas City. They eventually bought place down in central Missouri that had miles of trails and Daleath spent many years riding the trails down there. She named it "Happy Trails."

Daleath is preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Doris Brim and her infant sister Sally Jo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Roger; sons Britton of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Shad (Nicole) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren: Henry, Shilo, Annie and Lila of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Private graveside services will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
