Listen up

Listen up: KCCI stopped at the home of Dr. Jim and Mary Ellen Kimball, Tuesday, Jan. 24, during the recording of “Old Doc Kimball,” a weekly segment that plays three times daily on KSOI 91.9 FM. KSOI is the only non-profit, community-based radio station in south central Iowa. Started in June 2012, the station’s coverage spans 2,500 square miles. Station manager Kim Romero keeps locally created and controlled content running on a tight schedule.
