Janis Lynne Dorman

Janis Lynne Dorman, 89, died Aug. 29, 2019, at her home in Casa Grande, Arizona. The family is planning a celebration of life service at a later date.

Janis Lynne Dorman daughter of Howard and Mary (Simmerman) Kirby was born April 18, 1940, in Clarke county. She graduated from Truro High School, class of 1958.

Janis married James Dorman on July 18, 1958. She operated the Truro Cafe and assisted Jim with Truro Farm Equipment. Jim and Janis moved to Casa Grande, Arizona in 1988 and worked at 3G’s Flowers.

Janis is survived by husband Jim, sister Susan (Mike) Cronin of Riverside; sons: Brent (Virgene) Dorman of Canton, Ohio, Craig (Karla) Dorman of West Des Moines and Kevin Dorman of Glendale, Arizona; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, sister Joyce (Joe) Roberts and mother- and father-in-law Herman and Harriet Dorman.
