Clarke golf has put together a few successful outing over the past week with a number of scores registered in the clubhouse.
On the boys side, the Indians put together a solid outing at Creston’s Crestmoor Golf Course April 9 as Conner Deutsch shot a team-low 40 strokes on the day. Taylor Henry was the next lowest scorer with a 45.
Jon Bair and Colby Wilken registered scores of 50 and 65, respectively, while Will Smith shot a 73.
The girls ended the event with a team scores of 277 after solid rounds from Maison Sandel, Kelli McAfee, Hannah Wisniewski and Erin Silzer.
Sandel shot a team-best 63 while McAfee and Wisniewski each finished the day shooting 68s.
Silzer put together a round of 69 while Elayna Irving was just off her pace with a 72. Lexi Cooper shot a 76 for the Lady Indians.
Winterset tourney
At the Winterset tournament Monday the Clarke girls golf team had three participants in Caitlin Clark, Silzer and Kenna DeVore.
On the 18-hole course, Clark put together the team’s best result with a 106, entering the clubhouse. DeVore and Silzer finished at 123 and 140, respectively.
