Clarke County Democrats honor recent Clarke graduate

Clarke County Democrats initiated a new program in 2018. A competitive scholarship open to all county graduating high school seniors is now completed for the first year. The scholarship if for $300. The amount is not paid until completion of the first semester of college.

Marshall Curnes of Clarke High School was named the recipient after a review of applications materials. He has now completed a semester of college.

The Clarke County Democrats are pleased to announce that this program will be continued for the Class of 2019 for residents of Clarke County.
