Senior medalist

At the Iowa Senior Olympics held in West Des Moines in June, Adair competed in seven events and earned third place in the Frisbee Accuracy Throw, second place in Soccer Kick, third place in the 1,500 meter power walk, third place in the 100 meter dash, first place in the 200 Metere Dash, third place in the 400 meter dash and third place in the 1,500 meter run.

At the Iowa Games held in Ames in July, Adair competed in three events and earned first place in the 1,500 meter run, second place in the 800 meter run and second place in the 200 meter dash.

“With the heat, humidity and the pain in both knees I got through another year,” said Adair. “All the credit goes to the good Lord.”
