Stubbe, Linskens, Davis, Oehlert all chosen for all-SCC

Four Lady Indians earned all-conference honors in the South Central Conference this season.

Clarke earned two second-team nods and two honorable mentions on the awards list.

Deseree Stubbe and Megan Linskens garnered second-team awards after each finished in the top 5 in conference scoring.

Stubbe recorded an average of 16.2 points per game on the way to netting 372 total points. The junior shot 37.9 percent from the floor. She pulled down 177 rebounds and swiped 59 steals, both high marks for any Lady Indian. Stubbe’s 7.7 rebounds per contest and total steals were both good enough for the fifth-best in the conference. She also recorded 16 blocks.

Linskens recorded 14.4 points per game on 39 percent shooting from both inside and outside the arc. Linskens sunk 50 3-pointers, the most of any member of the Clarke squad. The fellow junior dished out 88 assists over the course of the season, the third-highest mark of any player in the SCC. Linskens grabbed 61 rebounds and stole 44 passes.

Honorable mention

Sarah Davis and Ashlynn Oehlert both grabbed honorable mention selections for the Lady Indians.

Davis posted 7.5 points per game this season while grabbing 73 rebounds, passing out 18 assists and 43 steals. Davis’ 172 total points were the third most of any Clarke player.

Oehlert grabbed the second most rebounds of any Lady Indian behind Stubbe with 145 total rebounds the 10th-most in the SCC. The junior also finished second on the team in assists (56) and steals (54).
