Murray FFA sweetheart candidates

The Murray FBLA and FFA has selected their annual Sweetheart Candidates for the Sweetheart Dance Friday.

The Sweetheart Candidates are Megan Johnston, Becca Henrichs, Ally Waske, Kendra Boles and Delia Mozqueda.

The Beau Candidates are Levi Snyder, Jaren Cosner, Joshua Webb, Jace Rodecker and Wyatt Myers.

The winners will be selected at the beginning of the Sweetheart Dance. The selection of the candidates kicks off National FFA Week for the Murray FFA. Here are a few additional things the FFA has planned for FFA week: dress up days, Greenhand day, teacher appreciation, Farmer’s Breakfast and Sub-District competitions.

The big event the officers have been planning diligently is the Pack the Court project. For this year’s community service activity, the officers have challenged each elementary class and high school/middle school advisory to donate toiletry items, hygiene items, dry and canned goods and other non-perishable items. These items will then be collected and delivered to local food pantries.
