Clarke Community High School senior, Carter Wilken had a dream to wrestle at the college level. He accomplished that dream recently by signing his letter-of-intent to wrestle at Graceland University in Lamoni. “He’s a great kid. He does a lot of good things with FFA, wrestling and a very sharp kid. Good academically. Hard working. Continues to grow and get better,” Clarke wrestling coach Brian Reece said. Carter is a three-year varsity contributor as an Indian of Clarke Community High school wrestling program. He projects to wrestle at 125 lbs. and major in Agricultural Business at Graceland. Carter is the son of Osceola, Iowa natives Jeff and Nicole Wilken. Carter has been very active in FFA, serving as the Osceola Big Chief Chapter President, which has helped foster his love for Agriculture. He is also active in Golf, and a 3 year letter winner. Carter is looking forward to wrestling at the college level and continuing his education in Agriculture.
