SCC honors top achievers

Tuesday, March 21, families and educators convened at Honey Creek Resort in Moravia to honor seniors in the top five percent of their graduating classes from Clarke, Davis County, Chariton, Knoxville, Centerville, Albia and Eddyville Blakesburg Fremont. 

Jeff Graves was the host of the evening, welcoming guests at 6:30 p.m. and wrapping up the night at X. Dinner followed an invocation by Tim Milledge, after which the top-performing seniors were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. Students from Clarke included Angel Fabila, Reed Morris, Briceida Sandoval, LeeAnn Helgevold, Perla Rosales and Willian Otto.

The night's keynote speaker was Shannon Vesely.
