President Trump firmly believes that President Obama ordered someone to bug his phones in Trump Tower. There is absolutely no factual basis for this belief. FBI Director James Comey has asked the Justice Department to come out and categroically deny this.

But the President’s aides all say the President really believes this. President Trump also firmly believes that three to five million illegal people voted for Clinton in November, that he has had his picture on the cover of Time more than anyone else, that his inauguration crowd was the biggest in history, that he received more electoral votes than anyone since Ronald Reagan, that the rain on inauguration day stopped as soon as he started to speak, that the press doesn’t report on terrorist attacks, etc.

Maybe someone should have the courage to tell President Trump that just because he believes something does not make it true.
