One of Mayor Kedley’s highest priorities is improving the health of people in Clarke County through the creation of a recreation center. The first steps toward the goal have been put in motion with the filing of the paperwork needed to establish a non-profit agency to oversee fundraising efforts.
Articles of Incorporation have been filed for the Operation Recreation Foundation. Fundraising efforts are ready to roll as soon as all the paperwork is approved. As the plan stands now, the foundation is designed to retain 100 percent of donations for the rec center project.
