Letter to the editor

Radio news told me about three people that had ran of the road and into a creek in a vehicle that was upside down. All died. I didn't hear whether or not they were seat belted, so I'll just question if they were trapped in their seat belts and unable to unfasten them while in an upside down mode.

I've heard about similar accents, and when I'd question law enforcement personnel about the above, they refused to give me an answer.

I've known of crashes where the occupants survived only because they were not seat belted in a side impact, or decapped, or crushed, or under water, or burning, or any “death area of vehicle,” but then are subject to penalty for not getting killed in the crashes.

You will only hear select and favorable information about the seat belt law, but nothing negative about that sacred idol.

I could fill the newspaper up with the side of the seat belt law that citizens aren't supposed to even think about or question.
