Osceola Police Department

Officers responded to 385 calls for service in September. This is a decrease from the 415 calls in August. Officers initiated 243 contacts in September, which is an increase from August.

Officers investigated 10 accidents in September, which is a decrease from August. There were 39 citations issued, which is an increase from August.

There were 16 written warnings and 26 verbal warnings. Officers arrested 26 people in September, which is an increase from the previous month.

Officers issued a rash of school bust stop arm citations, which they have been filing charges on.

Osceola Volunteer Fire Department

In September, firefighters responded to various calls. The calls were two ambulance assistances, two vehicle fires, one structure fire, five vehicle accidents, and six alarm calls.

This adds up to 16 total calls for 73 man hours.

In September, firefighters spent 21 hours on monthly maintenance and 42 hours on monthly training.

This adds up to 63 total training, maintenance and education man hours.
