Slimming with Friends met Thursday, Sept. 29, with eight members present and Jeri Lytton presiding.
They enjoyed their first “no gain” meeting in the history of the club. No one attending gained any weight. This is something they have been trying to achieve for several years. Congratulation to the club for this accomplishment.
The forbidden food is a bacon cheeseburger.

The program was given by Marlene Clayton. She read a very interesting article from “Canadian Living” magazine about antioxidants which told that many foods with certain colors can help fight diseases and illnesses and offer a better diet.
