Norman Little Murray

Norman Willard Little, 85, of Murray died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 20, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola, with the Rev. Marty Burgus officiating. Visitation with family present was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home. Interment followed in Murray Cemetery in Murray. Norman Willard Little, son of Albert Ferdinand Little and Wilma Beatrice (McClure) Little, was born May 30, 1931, in Murray. Norman received his education in Murray High School graduating in 1950. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

On Nov. 2, 1958, he married Darlene Woodard at Greenfield. Norman was a lifetime resident of Murray and a farmer.

Norman is survived by his wife Darlene Little of Murray; daughter Debbie (Mike) Anderson of Murray; son Eugene (Judy) Little of Murray; grandchildren, Melissa Anderson of Murray, Lindsay (Steven) Peterson of Ames, Cody Anderson of Murray and Daniel Little of Murray; great-grandchildren, Augustus Peterson of Ames, Dominic Torres of Murray and Cadee Hughes of Ankeny; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Little.
