This is a jump start to get people thinking about Farm Bureau’s annual cookout contest.
This summer will be the 17th annual cookout contest. People have already shown interest in the competition and Farm Bureau is looking forward to several more giving it consideration.
It will be held in conjunction with the Clarke County 4-H and FFA Fair Saturday, July 23. Set up is at your discretion with judging at 5:30 p.m. Judging of the entries will be blind until time to judge the showmanship entries.
The event is fun, educational and helps visitors see a more of where their food comes from.
