Faye Peters Eldora

Faye A. Peters, 87, of Eldora, formerly of Osceola, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Valley View Specialty Care in Eldora.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Creps-Abels Funeral Home, 905 Edgington Ave., in Eldora. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the First Assembly of God Church in Eldora. Burial will be held privately by the family in Evergreen Cemetery in Emmetsburg. Faye A. Peters, daughter of Robert and Gladys (Kuhn) Duncan, was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Cambridge. She graduated from Collins High School in Collins.

On June 1, 1951, Faye married Lester Thomas Peters in Curlew.

Faye was a member of First Assembly of God Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher.

Faye is survived by her children, Darrell (Frances) Peters, Lester (Denise) Peters, William (Jane) Peters, Faye (Don) Nederhoff, Daniel (Sue) Peters, Marie (Mike) Bachman and Gladys (Colin) Keipper; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Oscar Duncan and Art (Sandy) Duncan; sisters, Violet (Al) Wagner, Margie McStockard and Marlys Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester; daughter Verna; son Duncan; sisters, Claretta Lay and Dorothye Johnson and brother Raymond Duncan.
