Clarke senior receives 2015 Star Student scholarship

Clarke Community High School senior Hannah Reisinger received the 2015 Star Student Scholarship of Iowa in recognition for her scholastic achievements and extracurricular activities.

In addition high academic achievement, Reisinger is active in a variety of extracurricular activities, including FFA, 4H, the Great Plains/Iowa Swine Association and her high school dance team.

She volunteers her time at a local veterinarian’s office and with the Iowa Pork Council at the Iowa State Fair. She plans use her passion for raising and showing livestock to pursue a degree in agricultural business and marketing.

Reisinger will use the Star Student Scholarship of Iowa to help fund her studies at Graceland University beginning this fall.

“After graduation from college I plan to continue to live on a farm and raise and market my livestock. I hope to get a job in marketing with a large animal feed producer,” Reisinger said.

The Star Student Scholarship is jointly sponsored by ClaimAid Consulting Corporation and the Iowa Association of School Boards.
