Fry receives Iowa Corn Growers endorsement

Rep. Joel Fry, R-Osceola, recently received the endorsement of the Iowa Corn Growers Association PAC for the 2014 campaign cycle.

According to the Iowa Corn Growers Association, endorsements are made by a bipartisan committee of farmer-members who choose candidates based on their support of Corn Growers’ policies including conservation and water quality, taxes and value-added agriculture.

“I am proud to have the support of the Iowa Corn Growers Association and their membership,” Fry said. “Iowa farmers feed the world, and I will continue to work with them to help ensure state government is not an impediment to their growth and success.”

Fry was first elected to the House in 2010 and serves as an Assistant Majority Leader. He and his wife Heather are small business owners in rural Clarke County.
