Branstad, Reynolds endorse Fry in state house race

Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds endorsed Rep. Joel Fry, R-Osceola, in his campaign for state representative.

“Rep. Fry has worked tirelessly for the people of Clarke, Lucas, Decatur and Wayne counties. He has been our strong ally in helping to reduce unemployment across the state, pass the largest property tax cut in Iowa history and rein in government spending. We need Rep. Fry back in the statehouse to continue to move Iowa forward,” Branstad said.

“I’ve seen firsthand how Rep. Fry puts people above politics and I’m proud that he has represented me in the statehouse. He’s a consistent, conservative who stands up for the unborn, fights for families and protects taxpayers,” Reynolds.

Fry was first elected to the House in 2010. He and his wife are small business owners and have six children.

The election will be held in November.
