Lucas County Health Center offers prenatal classes

Lucas County Health Center will offer prenatal classes for expecting parents starting Monday, Aug. 4.

This six week class, which is held on Monday evenings from 6-9 p.m. in the education room at LCHC, is designed to help expecting parents understand the process of labor and delivery and to answer questions they may have about the birth of their child. The more prepared new parents are, the more likely they are to approach their journey with confidence and a positive perspective.

These classes will cover a variety of topics including preparation for labor, comfort measures, what to expect during labor and delivery, choices you can make, infant safety and CPR, and more.

Classes are free to those delivering at Lucas County Health Center. Registration is just $10 for those who are delivering outside of LCHC.

For more information or to register, contact Rene Fetters at 641-774-3253 or visit www.lchcia.com.
